SIRES to Rams on offer 2026 sale
Sires producing overall top quality Rams to add to your breeding program.
For the first time we decided to use a couple stand out ram lambs over a select handful of ewes to accelerate genetic gains.
240161 was an eye-catching ram every time he was handled possibly being the most complete all-round ram we have produced who went on to be the highest index animal for the complete drop.
Combining excellent wool and meat into a moderate frame.
240067 was another ram we had confidence in coming out of a ewe who has never failed with the offspring produced. Larger in the frame and exhibiting great staple length.
AGM220194 is a triplet with exceptional growth and meat characteristics. Some handy wool and clean points.
AGM220326 continues to provide excellent offspring. A ram our classer simply said as a must keep ram with good frame size carrying great muscle with a fine crimped wool.
AGM220356 was a standout for his wool characteristics with his dam constantly producing our best wool type every year.
FV226678 is another ram selected for his growth, depth and muscling. He also has solid wool attributes and has produced some exceptional rams for his first year with one of his ram lambs used over ewes as a standout ram from the 2024 drop.
We hope we can assist you in finding the rams to best suit your flock this year.

Our Story
Clover Downs Dohne Stud was established in 2016 with the purchase of our foundation flock from Hamilton Run. This included our initial 150head of breeding ewes with two rams HR140557 and HR140361 purchased from the National Dohne ram sale in Bendigo in 2016.
Our goal is to produce top quality white wool whilst also maintain a solid carcase of a true dual-purpose sheep.
Additional purchases of high quality sheep from Hamilton Run have further enhanced our flock. These included HR170151 purchased privately for $15,000 in August 2018 and the top priced ewes in the Hamilton Run dispersal in November 2018. 2021 saw the introduction of 2 new stud sires from Far Valley Dohne Stud in Western Australia.
Their lambs have grown and developed exceptionally well and we look forward to watching them continue to produce top quality rams. We went onto purchase another ram from Far Valley in 2023 and have retained a couple of standout 2022 and 2024 drop rams to use amongst the stud that we are confident will continue to produce top quality progeny.
