ABOUT US

Clover Downs Dohne Stud was established in 2016 with the purchase of our foundation flock from Hamilton Run. This included our initial 150head of breeding ewes with two rams HR140557 and HR140361 purchased from the National Dohne ram sale in Bendigo in 2016.

Our goal is to produce top quality white wool whilst also maintain a solid carcase of a true dual-purpose sheep.

Additional purchases of high quality sheep from Hamilton Run have further enhanced our flock. These included HR170151 purchased privately for $15,000 in August 2018 and the top priced ewes in the Hamilton Run dispersal in November 2018.

2021 saw the introduction of 2 new stud sires from Far Valley Dohne Stud in Western Australia.
Their current lambs on the ground are growing and developing exceptionally well and we look forward to watching them continue to produce top quality rams.
